A man commuting in China found himself in a horrifying situation as one of his fingers got stuck between the doors of a bullet train that started to move away.
The incident, which occurred in a train station in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, was filmed by a terrified onlooker who could only witness the man’s plight.
In the video, the man is seen running along the train in an obvious attempt to save his life. Other commuters screamed at the terrifying sight.
A station employee is also seen trying to signal the train to stop, according to Shanghaiist.
According to the train staff, the man’s finger got stuck when he realized that he boarded the wrong train and tried to get off, People’s Daily noted.
Thankfully, the unfortunate event ended on a good note as the man was able to pull out his finger just before reaching the end of the platform. No serious injury was reported.
